FKF candidates go on overdrive ahead of polls

Candidates in the forthcoming FKF branch elections continue to meet delegates as they intensify campaign for various seats in the Football Kenya Federation County elections that are expected to take place on Saturday, August 19th, 2020.
The candidates among them George Onyango, who is gunning for Nairobi East chairmanship have called for a speedy resolution of cases at the Sports Disputes Tribunal.
“Our prayers to SDT is for them to strike out the many court cases and let the people vote and decide the people who will be in office so that we can grow our football.” Onyango said.
The elections are expected to take place in 21 out of 48 branches since in the other 27 branches, candidates are unopposed. 94 delegates will be eligible to take part in the national elections.
The FKF electoral board this week held a zoom meeting with the aspirants on how to conduct the upcoming elections.
The candidates who are contesting for various positions have said they are well prepared for the elections
