Healthy environment primed as tool of justice- Former KPBC boss Hillary Alila says

A healthy environment will be treated as a matter of justice in society as Kenya looks at new horizons anchored on a green climatic revolution.

According to former Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) President Hillary Alila, who is the party leader of the Green Congress of Kenya, under privileged people in society bear the brunt most from pollution and climate change because environmental degradation and social inequality are two sides of the same coin.

Explaining the Green Congress of Kenya agenda for a better country one that is built on green clean environment and economic transformation, Alila emphasized that GCK stands for environmental rights of all citizens regardless of their social and economic status.

“Green Congress stands for the right to clean air and safe drinking water for every citizen, in every neighborhood. Transparent and accountable governance, free from the corruption that sells our environment short,” Alila says.

“Every citizen has a right to inclusive development that leaves no one behind. A green future is not just about trees and solar panels; it is about building a fairer, more just society for all Kenyans.” He concluded.
