Skipper promotion to host another Knock out Night Boxing Extravaganza
Kenya’s finest Boxers led by heavyweight Champion Morris ‘Maketho
Maloso” Okolla, and Zarika Fatuma will parade up yet again on March
5th at the Carnivore Restaurant for the eagerly awaited ‘Knock out
Night Boxing Extravaganza organized by Skipper Promotions.
The event dubbed the mother of all battles” has attracted foreign
Boxers drawn from neighbouring Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi.
Unveiling his plans, Skipper Promotions Chief Executive Steve Sijenyi
said preparations for the big event are at an advanced stages adding
that names of the foreign Boxers will be disclosed in the next few
‘At the moment, I don’t want to disclose the names of the foreign
Boxers but what I can assure you, they are coming from neighbouring
Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi. This time, we are bringing the best Boxers
as recommended by their respective Boxing federations. No joyriders
.It will be the mother of all battles “he said.
Sijenyi who last month organised another similar event said other
Kenya top pugilists like defending light heavyweight Champion Daniel
Wanyonyi, and Michael Nyawade among others will be on parade.
He said he was impressed by the turn out during his previous event
staged at the Carnivore that was graced by high profile dignitaries
that included Machakos county Governor Alfred Mutua,Nairobi Senetor
Gedion Mbuvi Sonko,Mathare and Embakasi West legislators Stephen
Kariuki and George Theuri among others.
‘I’m very much thankful to all the guest who graced the event last
month that included Governor Mutua and Nairobi Senetor Mike Sonko and
Nairobi women representative Racheal Shebesh among other
dignitaries.Their presence added more sparks to the event and I look
forward to see them on March 5th at the same venue”enthused Skipper.
The glamour event has been sanctioned by the Kenya professional
Boxing Federation(KPBC) and the Nairobi County Government.
