FKF rolls out club licensing workshop for Top Leagues

 

NAIROBI - Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024: The Football Kenya Federation, in conjunction with the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has begun a three-day club licensing workshop for their Men’s and Women’s Premier League and National Super League clubs, hosted at the Movenpick Hotel in Westlands.

 

Today, 18 representatives from FKF Premier League clubs and 20 representatives from FKF National Super League clubs commence their workshop, which will conclude on April 3, 2024. Subsequently, the workshop will be followed by sessions for 12 representatives from FKF Women Premier League clubs and 16 representatives from FKF Women National Super League clubs on April 4, 2024.

The primary focus will be on the CAF Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP), featuring comprehensive training sessions for club representatives on platform usage. They will also receive detailed presentations on the CAF Club Licensing regulatory framework (edition 2022) for both men’s and women’s categories, including explanations of the mandatory criteria for domestic and continental competitions.

The workshops will be conducted under the guidance of CAF Instructor Emmanuel Dasoberi, CAF CLOP Officer Hamza Sorouri, and CAF CLOP Expert Miguel Revera.
