The highly anticipated third edition of the Sakaja Super Cup is set to make a big return. The country’s biggest grassroots football tournament has this year attracted a record breaking number of entries with 892 teams registering for the tournament.
The Sakaja Super Cup offers teams a chance to compete for the grand prize of Ksh 3 million. The tournament, which first kicked off in 2023 with Githurai All Stars emerging as two time champions after winning the top prize in 2023 and 2024. It promises to be even bigger and better this year.
Registration for the 2025 edition hit record numbers with the highest number of teams registering for the tournament. Teams affiliated with Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Nairobi branches are encouraged to participate.
