Kibagare, Kawasaki in action as Sakaja super cup sub county finals play on

The Nairobi West Football Kenya Federation sub county finals of the Sakaja Super Cup continue as Escalators FC and Cordoba FC won their Dagoretti North and Dagoreti South sub county finals which were today decided on penalties.

Escalators won 5-4 on penalties after settling to a 1-1 draw with Desai FC in the first match of the Sunday fixtures before Cordoba FC beat Shalom Yassets FC 7-6 on penalties after settling for a 2-2 draw.

Action will resume on Monday with another four Nairobi west fixtures line up to be played at the Impala grounds.

The first match of day will pit South B All-stars who will play the finalists of the first edition Kawasaki FC from 9:00am in the Starehe sub county finals.

In Langata sub county, South C Rangers will have an entertaining encounter with Bomas of Kenya in the second match at Impala grounds in a 11:00am kickoff.

Shofco Kibera FC will then descend to the pitch to face Powergen FC starting from 1:00pm in the Kibra sub county finals.

The last fixture of the day will see an explosive match up between westlands sub county finest Leads United FC who have an uphill task against the 2023 Nairobi west regional finalists Kibagare Slums FC in what has been biles as the most entertaining match of day set to kick off at 3:00pm.

Winners in every sub county receive a prize money of Ksh 100,000 while the sub county runners up received Ksh. 50,000.

Both finalists at every sub county will now advance to the Nairobi East and Nairobi West regional competitions before the grand finale that will be played between the East and West winners for the Ksh 3 million grand cash prize.
