Along the way, Migori Youth has some unfinished business with crunch ties agaist top sides Mombasa United, MOFA, Equity and Kisumu All Stars all coming up in April and May as the league season comes to a high octane finish.
Migori youth enjoys a massive and passionate support mostly from the residents of Migori and the larger southern part of the Nyanza region and with their eminent promotion to the Sportpesa Premier League is anchored on a firm belief in empowering the youth through their sporting talent.
Their eminent promotion will come with good tidings. The team under its chairman Abdi Aziz Osman and long term Patron Uriri Member of Parliament Mark Nyamita plans to acquire a new team bus among the benefits the team will enjoy from promotion.
Additionally, the construction of the 10,000-seater Migori Stadium is currently underway giving the team a new homeground. Located on 8.7 acres in Migori town, this Ksh 900 million project aims to make the stadium, which is the teams official home ground, a modern facility featuring a professional pitch, eight-lane track, and a pavilion.
Migori youth has for a long time produced good players acting as feeder to premier league teams but this time, all intentions are clear that Migori Youth will be up with the big boys.
