Sports Entrepreneur Edwin Kuria joins legend Musa Otieno in plans to empower Makadara through sports 

Renowned Makadara opinion leader and current Kumi Bila Break movement chairman Edwin Kuria made a visit to Dr. Kraph primary school Maringo- Makadara in a meeting that sought to moot ideas on how to use Sports to empower the community.

 

Kuria was joined by former Harambee Stars captain, legend Musa Otieno and director Anna Semenova, a Russian national who runs an NGO Path To Russia in the visit to Dr. Kraph primary school where the trio shared ideas on how best to improve the community in Makadara using sports and other valuable courses.

 

Just two weeks ago,Kuria joined hands with director Anna and Path To Russia to organise a sports day held at Uhuru Sports Complex where women drawn from various surroundings in Makadara engaged in sports activities among the Football, volleyball, basketball and netball competitions with all teams participating getting rewards as a way of empowerment to them.

 

Kuria called on all residents log Makadara to united and chart a path to development in the area without leaving anyone behind noting that growth in the community is a collective responsibility and a society united will achieve more development along with political leaders and other development partners.

Kuria has revealed plans to start boxing fight nights in Makadara starting in September which will be organised in collaboration with the Kenya Professional Boxing Commission.
